Support from her family, who are notably supportive despite their Haitian American background, fuels Ayanna’s passion for music. Recently diving into songwriting, she finds joy in creating lyrics to accompany her lifelong love for singing.

One of her creations, “Million Miles Away,” came to life spontaneously last summer with her cousin, a beat maker. The song explores the theme that no distance is too great when it comes to family or loved ones.

At just 18 years old, Ayanna grapples with daily thoughts of giving up on music. Her brother and manager, Haitian Blades, plays a pivotal role, providing words of encouragement that counter her self-doubt.

Describing her artistic style as spontaneous, adventurous, raw, unique, and personal, Ayanna embraces a variety of genres, drawing inspiration from artists like Beyoncé.

Looking to the future, Ayanna envisions herself remaining true to her musical identity and finding happiness in her craft over the next five years. Despite being an introvert in everyday life, her extroverted self shines through when she’s immersed in music, both in writing and performing.

Excitingly, Ayanna shares her upcoming projects, including an original Christmas song and a surprising twist—she’s venturing into rap. With enthusiasm for these new ventures, Ayanna leaves us eager to witness her vibrant performances and the unique musical journey she’s embarking on.
